Lot Before Kickoff is a tailgate planner. It does not collect, sell, share or track any personal information. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking SDKs.
What stays on your device
Everything you enter is stored only on your iPhone or iPad in the app's local database: crew names and RSVPs, potluck dishes, grill cooks, gear checklists, your lot plan, season log entries and photos, parking spot snaps, venue notes and settings. We never receive this information. Deleting the app deletes all of it. "Start a fresh season" in Settings clears it at any time.
Weather forecast
To show the kickoff forecast and size your ice plan, the app requests an hourly forecast from Open-Meteo, a free public weather service. The request contains only the fixed coordinates of the stadium you selected from the app's built-in venue list. It does not include your location, device identifiers or anything you've entered. The latest forecast is cached on your device so the app works offline.
Camera and photos
Camera: used only when you tap a camera button, to photograph your parking row sign or tailgate moments. Photo library: the system photo picker lets you choose images to attach to a tailgate or parking snap. The app only reads the photos you pick. Photos are saved inside the app on your device and are never uploaded.
Notifications
If you turn on grill alerts, the app schedules local notifications on your device (fire and pull reminders, and a heads-up before the lot opens). No push server is involved and no notification data leaves your device.
Home Screen widget
The widget reads a small countdown summary (next opponent, kickoff time, lot opening time, next cook) that the app writes to a shared container on your device.
Children
The app isn't directed at children under 13 and collects no information from anyone.
